REFUND, PAYMENTS, AND CANCELLATION POLICY

The Singer's Piano Refund Policy

 

Mission Statement:

We believe every song is worth singing, and we want to help you make your voice heard. Our programs are designed for people who have never sung in front of others before, as well as experienced musicians looking to diversify their skill set. We do not offer refunds for any of our programs unless otherwise stated. We know many of you don't have time to implement all these tools within the first 10 weeks, so we offer either lifetime access or a full year's access, depending on the course, However, we can’t take responsibility for your lack of results if you don’t do the work. If you do not plan on putting forth the effort, then we suggest you don’t join.

Please do not enrol in The Singer’s Piano courses if you just want to "see if you like it" or “expect results overnight”. Considering the incredible amount of time and commitment it takes to learn how to play an instrument like the piano and voice, we feel you should be committed before enrolling in our courses. We have put an extraordinary amount of time, money, and effort into our programs, community, and customer support, and we will hold you to the same standard. The Singer’s Piano is for students who are committed, focused, and ready to get started!

 

Course Refund Policy

Self-Study Courses:

Piano.Vocal.Success, Express Your Truth [Pre-recorded], The Fundamentals: Piano Freedom For Vocalists, Seek Your Truth, Logic Pro-Mini-Course, The Foundational Course & any pre-recorded future special offers such as Black Friday Etc  Refund Policy:

We operate a 14-day conditional refund policy. Conditions for a refund are as follows, with each case individually assessed:

  1. Completion and Proof: By the end of the 14-day period, training and assignments must be completed with proof that you’ve kept up with the work (watching the videos alone is not sufficient), implemented the technique, and still haven’t seen ‘realistic’ results. Show genuine consistency and determination to achieve your learning.
  2. Commitment to Learning: Results take time, and can sometimes take 12 months of consistency to see any improvement. The courses are for musicians committed to self-study learning and implementing new strategies, not for those who expect results without regular practice and doing the homework provided.
  3. Change of Mind: A change of mind does not constitute a valid reason for a refund request.
  4. Admin Fee: We may charge an admin fee at our discretion when considering your refund.
  5. Request for Refund: Requests for refunds must be made in writing to [email protected] within the defined refund period.
  6. Deletion of Materials: If you receive a refund, you must delete every copy of the product and materials you have downloaded and any copies on other devices or media.
  7. Group Ban: Being removed or banned from the WhatsApp or Facebook group does not entitle you to a refund of your enrolment fee.
  8. UK Consumer Law: As this is a digital product, you have the right to a refund if the digital content is faulty or not as described, and this cannot be excluded under UK Consumer Law. However, dissatisfaction with teaching style or subjective outcomes do not constitute a major failure.
  9. Refund Timeline: If you are entitled to a refund, we will refund your money within two weeks of notice and the entitlement arising.
  10. Course Start Within 14 Days: If your course starts within the 14-day period of purchase, you still have the right to cancel, but you must pay for the value of the service provided up to the point you cancel. 

 

Membership Subscription Refund Policy

Quarterly Commitment: Your Truth Amplified quarterly membership subscriptions are deemed to be quarterly commitments. Refunds are not usually issued. Members can request to have their name removed from the Your Truth Amplified membership database at any time, but there will be no rebate of any part of the subscription already paid unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Annual Commitment: Your Truth Amplified annual membership subscriptions are deemed to be annual commitments. Refunds are not usually issued. Members can request to have their name removed from the Your Truth Amplified membership database at any time, but there will be no rebate of any part of the subscription already paid unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Refund Circumstances: Refunds of membership subscriptions will generally only be made in situations where, due to lead times (e.g., Direct Debits), it was not possible to prevent the collection of a payment despite being contacted by the member to cancel or amend their subscription before the renewal date.

Automatic Renewal: If you pay by direct debit, your quarterly/annual membership will be automatically renewed unless you cancel ahead of time.

Membership Category Changes: Refunds will not usually be made to members who later indicate they could have been in a lower-cost membership category (e.g., a full member entitled to a retired rate). Members must inform Your Truth Amplified of any required changes to their circumstances at the time of their membership renewal.

Exceptional Circumstances: While there is no entitlement, in exceptional circumstances, Your Truth Amplified may allow partial refunds based on the balance remaining, calculated on a pro-rata termly rate to the end of the membership quarter or year.

Cooling-off Period: If a brand new member pays for a membership subscription, they will have a 14-day ‘cooling-off’ period during which they can cancel their subscription and receive a full refund. If you decide to cancel within the 14 days, we will refund your payment within 30 days of your cancellation. 

Member Area Access: Access to the member area of the Your Truth Amplified website is governed by a unique member username and password, which will be deactivated if a membership is cancelled. No refund will be issued if The Singer’s Piano believes that a member has benefited from the membership by accessing privileged member-only information, obtaining member discounts, applying for Your Truth Amplified buddy system or similar programme, or registering for member-only events during the cooling-off period.

Administration Fee: Your Truth Amplified reserves the right to charge an administration fee (up to 25% of the quarterly or annual subscription fee) for any refunds issued in accordance with paragraphs 4 and 5 above.

Cancellation Requests: Members wishing to cancel their subscription within the 14-day cooling-off period should either email [email protected] 48 hours before their subscription renews or cancel from within their profile settings inside the membership or payment provider.

 

One-on-One Lessons Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Notice: Students must give 48 hours notice if they would like to cancel a one-on-one lesson. This applies to Express Your Truth Gold members and any students who book a one-off lesson.

No-Show Policy: If a student does not show up for a scheduled lesson, they will lose that lesson.

Cancellation within 48 Hours: If a student cancels within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson, unless it is an exceptional circumstance, they will have the option to reschedule.

Requests for cancellations and rescheduling must be made in writing to [email protected].

 

Express Your Truth - Live 9-Week Coaching Programme & Express Your Truth Gold

We operate a 14-day conditional refund policy. Conditions for a refund are as follows, with each case individually assessed:

  1. Completion and Participation: 80% of the first 3 weeks of the pre-recorded course must be completed and implemented. Attendance at 2 out of 3 live calls with at least 2 questions asked in the sessions. Participation in the Facebook Community/WhatsApp Group unless exceptional circumstances are explained.
  2. Commitment to Learning: Results take time, and can sometimes take 12 months of consistency to see any improvement. The course is for musicians committed to self-study learning and implementing new strategies, not for those who expect results without regular practice and doing the homework provided.
  3. Submission of Work: We may request that you submit completed worksheets, activities, and exercises so that we can consider your refund request.
  4. Change of Mind: A change of mind does not constitute a valid reason for a refund request.
  5. Admin Fee: We may charge an admin fee at our discretion when considering your refund.
  6. Request for Refund: Requests for refunds must be made in writing to [email protected] within the defined refund period.
