Hi there....I'm Sam,
I'm a piano/vocal coach, music therapist, and professional piano/vocalist, oh and mum. It feels like yesterday I honed my skills at the BRIT School, the very same place where Adele and Amy Winehouse made their starts.
Can you believe I obtained a music degree from Dartington College of Arts and a Master's in music therapy from the UWE & travelled the world with my music and even worked along side Sir Ray Davies all without being able to read a note of music! If I can do it, so can you.
But it wasn’t always this way. Picture me 15 years ago - stuck in London and barely able to breathe because of anxiety. I didn’t know how to play a single cover on the piano nor did I believe in myself & my music….. but I had a dream… to be a pro piano/vocalist
Obviously, something needed to change and it took a break up from a destructive relationship & surrounding myself with a supportive community that started to unshackle myself from self-doubt and my inner critic.
Now my biggest obsession is helping others to do what I did, firstly overcoming their fears and blocks, showing them how easy it can be to sing, play and write music but most importantly helping them to express themselves and heal through music so they have their voice back.

Some of the biggest mistakes that beginner piano players make are they think they have to learn music to accompany their voice. They get stuck in the music theory and never actually get to the point where they accompany their voice! And if they do manage to get that far they end up overplaying the piano, sounding clunky and overpowering their voice!
You don’t want to spend your precious time learning the wrong thing, right? I didn’t think so!
